The apartment is located in an attractive new development, just a couple of minutes from the popular Fòrum Park venue, on the Mediterranean and beside the new port and watersports. This area has a lot of fascinating modern architecture, as well as the Diagonal Mar shopping centre, cafés, bars and of course, the quieter, better beaches of Barcelona. Other attractions in this area include the Torre Agbar and the fleamarket at Encants while frequent transports take you into the historical centre in about 15 minutes. You were right - the apartment was very conveniently located and the transportaation system easy to understand. We only wish we knew a little more Spanish than we did -- it would have been a lot easier for us!

Afer a full day of sightseeing and shopping for some of us (we did help the econony!) and attending the conference for others, returning to the apartment a couple of nights and unwinding with cheese and wine on the balcony was the perfect ending of a perfect day. Thank you for all your advice and suggestions. They were so helpful!

We hope to return some day (after a few Spanish lessons) and you can be sure that we will be in touch to see if your apartment is available to us.
